Happy Birthday Princess!

Our princess has turned 3! Her birthday was such a blast and she loved everything about it. While planning her party, Alyvia would only tell us she wanted cake, presents, and her friends to come over! She really didn't have an opinion on what kind of decorations she wanted or even what type of presents, it was really all about spending time with her friends.

The day went relatively easy and nothing was to stressful, which was a nice change from all the other parties we have thrown for the kids. This year we went very simple and just did cake and ice cream with finger foods. I didn't even go all out for decorations since there was no theme and Alyvia didn't care! Her best friends came over and the girls mainly spent time upstairs having tea parties and playing with dolls. Brock of course had all his friends and they were all entertained outside on the trampoline.

When it came time for cake, Alyvia started to sing Happy Birthday to herself and when she blew out her candles she was so excited she started clapping. She really is so easy going sometimes and so easy to please! I love it. I was very proud of myself I didn't start crying until after we were taking the cake away to cut and even then it was only a little bit!

Presents went great and I want to thank everyone who celebrated with us. I'm so thankful for all the wonderful family and friends we have. Alyvia was spoiled with all her new toys, clothes, and shoes. She is definitely turning into a girly girl.
