Nickelback Concert!!

So James and I are not known to go to concerts ever. It always costs so much money and I know I can use that money for something else. Well, last April my mom called me and told me that Nickelback was going to be coming to Las Vegas in September and wanted to know if James and I wanted to go with her and Chad. So of course the first thing I told her was no. But then the more I thought about it the more I started to talk myself into going. I mean we hardly ever do anything for our selves and I could justify it as a joint present to ourselves. So I went ahead and splurged and bought us tickets. Now mind you less then a week later I was laid off from work.
Finally September comes and James and I are getting so excited for this concert. We had our babysitter all lined up "Nana" and we were ready. Mom and Chad picked us up so we only had to take one car and we headed towards the MGM Grand Hotel. When we got there it was getting pretty crowded but we made our way through security bought some drinks and found our seats. Our seats were four rows from the floor and just left of the center. They were perfect!!! There were three other bands that played first; Saving Abel, Papa Roach, and Hinder. I knew exactly two songs from each band but James knew almost all of them of course. We all agreed that Papa Roach was the best out of all of them. Then Nickelback finally made their appearance and wow did they blow us away. They played for two hours straight and it was an amazing concert. We were standing for the entire thing and man was my back hurting by the time it was all done. It was such a cool experience for me because I had only been to two concerts before and they were nothing like this.

I was so happy that James and I got to go to this and thanks mom for letting us know about it. We did take a few pictures with James i-phone since no one thought to bring an actual camera but you get the general idea.
