So, it has been awhile since I have updated this thing. Time is just flying on by. Can you believe it, July is right around the corner and then August and thank gosh September and hopefully some cooler weather. It amazes us how one week its really nice outside and in the 80's and 90's and then out of nowhere it is over 100 degrees!!! I can't take lol. The kids and I can only go out for maybe 10 minutes and then it is back inside to rehydrate and cool off.
So Brock and Alyvia are awesome as always. Brock is learning how to swim and turning into a true little fish. He is finally swimming in just his arm floaters and put away his ring. He loves to just jump right in the pool and can go under water. He dogie pattles around the entire pool and does not want any one's help. Its so fun I think in a couple more weeks we'll be able to take off the floaters and be a true swimmer. T-ball was over about two weeks ago and he received a very nice trophy which he proudly displays on his dresser. He got to go see the new movie Transformers in theaters and absolutely loved it. His new thing is riding around on his scooter or skate board and trying to learn new tricks. I'm surprised with all the bumps and bruises he obtains nothing serious has happened yet. He is really growing up so fast.
Alyvia is my little trouble maker. Just like her brother she is always trying to learn new tricks around the house. Her poor little legs have bruises from falling off the couch and climbing over things she shouldn't be and running from us when she knows she just got caught and then falling because she is still top heavy so her balance is great yet. She is also a pack rat. If we leave something out she is the first one to grab it and take it to her room. She will also go hunting in drawers and take what she can grab and run and hide in her room. She is learning so much from Brock and she is also repeating what he says, so now her vocabulary is just blossoming. Alyvia is also a tomboy but a girlie girl. She loves having her toes painted but not her fingers. She loves playing with Nerf guns but walks around with her little purse. She is just so funny and has such a personality.
James and I are great. He just started picking up some overtime here and there so that is nice but we don't see him as often which is a bummer especially for the kids. Come August James should hopefully be starting his EMS-Basic class but that will occupy two of his days off. We are heading out to the lake in a few weeks and also hopefully getting out of town sometime in the beginning of august. I am staying busy with the kiddos and all the activities we do. I was watching the little boy next door for a few weeks which was nice because the kids had an extra friend to play with. Well, we hope everyone is doing great and we love and miss you all.
Love,
The Morris Family
